Friends of Nike Site Summit and Alaska Nike Vets are pleased to host the 2024 Nike Veterans Reunion in Anchorage, September 16-19, 2024.  Every effort has been made to keep costs to a minimum.  Neither FONSS nor Alaska Nike Vets is profiting from this endeavor.

Transportation will be via carpooling.  Please consider offering a ride to those without vehicles.  Local FONSS members will offer transportation as well.  Signup for those offering/needing rides will be available daily starting Monday, September 16 at the Comfort Suites registration desk.

Payment by credit card is preferred.  If you wish to register and then pay by check, please contact fonss2007@gmail for instructions. 

FONSS is a program of the Alaska Association for Historic Preservation (AAHP) dba Preservation Alaska, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.  Your credit card receipt will indicate AAHP as the recipient.

Nike Veterans Reunion registration fee includes:  
  • Opening Reception (Monday evening)
  • Souvenir thumb drive for each veteran
  • Hospitality suite beverages
  • Local costs of hosting the conference
You may register separately for any or all of the following events:
  • Alaska Aviation Museum Guided Tour (Tuesday morning)
  • Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center (Tuesday afternoon)
  • Nike Site Summit Tour and lunch (Wednesday)
  • Alaska Veterans Museum (Thursday morning)
  • Site Point Tour and pot luck dinner (Thursday afternoon)

Please Note:
  • Meals are not included (except for Nike Site Summit lunch and Site Point pot luck dinner).  A group dinner has been arranged at Guido's featuring authentic Italian cuisine for Tuesday evening.  Cost will be approximately $20-$25 per person, paid at the restaurant.
  •  
  • For early arrivals to the Reunion, FONSS will arrange carpools to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on Monday.  The Center is approximately one hour south of Anchorage.  The cost per adult for entry is $25 ($22 for Alaskans), paid at the gate of the facility.  Enroute, there will be the opportunity to stop at the boardwalk at Potter Marsh to view migrating birds.
