Objective: This training will discuss the prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), how individuals with ASD process information, effective ways to respond, incidents involving law enforcement and how we can partner together to better support individuals.

Speakers: Chief Deputy/Delaware County, Jon Scowden; Westerville PD Lieutenant, Tracey Myers; Columbus Police Officer, Kevin Gentner and Attorney at Clemans, Nelson & Associates, Carolyn Gutowski.

Should inclement weather begin during the night, the decision to cancel will be made by 6 a.m. Should training be canceled, an email will be sent to all registered attendees. Please check emails for cancellations. Decisions about cancellations will be made by the trainer and may be made at any time if the situation makes it necessary.

Late arrivals, etc.
Trainees who arrive more than 30 minutes after the training start time listed on registration information, who spend an excessive amount of time outside of class other than scheduled break times or who are otherwise disruptive to the training environment may be asked to reschedule their attendance at a later date, at the trainer's discretion.
