Registration Information: Welcome to the Steamboat Skating Club. We are excited to have you involved. Below are the descriptions of our options of programs. Intro to Figure Skating is broken into 4 session. Development Team and Competitive/Performance Team are both year long programs. For our club members looking to create their own schedule, we now offer the option to pay per day (drop-in) or for USFSA registered figure skaters here visiting.

Intro to Figure Skating -  
Start your journey of figure skating here. This program is for skaters looking to develop their figure skating skills. Participants will be taught introductory spins, jumps, edge and footwork skills in a structured environment on private club ice. This program is for skaters whom have passed Basic 4.
Session 1: completed
Session 2: completed
Session 3: Jan 6 - Mar 3 (8 weeks)*
Session 4: April 7 - May 19 (5 weeks)
*Session 3 participants will be in our Mary Poppins Ice Show. There is an additional participation and costum fee for each skater..

Development Team -
Our Develpment Team is comprised of figure skaters proficient at basic stroking and footwork components along with introductory spin and jump techniques. In addition, students are intorduced to private lessons, testing, competing and fine tuning. Program fees can be broken into 3 payments throughout the year or paid in full at the beginning for a discount.

Development classes meet three times per week: 
Tuesdays: 4:00 - 4:45pm
Thursdays: 4:00 - 5:00pm
Sundays: 4:00 - 5:30pm

Competition and Performance Team -
Our dedicated skaters representing the Steamboat Skating Club at state wide competitions and performances. This program is designed for our serious figure skaters. This group of skaters work together throughout the entire year preparing for competitions and performances.   Program fees can be broken into 3 payments throughout the year or paid in full at the beginning for a discount.

Competitive classes meet five days per week:  
Monday: 6:00 - 7:30am, freestyle ice
Tuesday: 4:00 - 4:45pm, team asst. & spin class
Wednesday: 6:00 - 7:30am, edge class & freestyle ice
Thursdays: 3:30 - 5:00pm, off-ice warm up & freestyle ice
Sundays 2:30 - 2:50pm, off-ice warm up
Sundays: 3:00 - 3:30pm, stroking & edges
Sundays: 3:30 - 4:00pm, jumps & spins
Sundays: 4:00 - 5:30pm, freestyle ice

Per Freestyle (Drop-in)
For skaters looking to create their own schedule, or here visitng, we offer the option to pay per Freestyle. Each Freestyle is $15, instruction not included. Schedule is Mondays 6:00 - 7:30am, Sundays 3:30 - 5:30pm, every other Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30am and Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00pm.

For Club members wanting to add Freestyle including our group lesson, we offer the option to pay per time $21.

SSC offers program fee assistance. Please visit www.steamboatskatingclub.org for more information and scholarship forms.were due October 1, 2018. Applications are no longer being accepted for this season (September 2018 - August 2019). 

Every SSC member must pay a annual SSC membership as well as a USFSA membership.
