CE Workshop for Mental Health Professionals

Reflect upon the ethical vulnerabilities inherent to any clinical practice, identify the ones particular to your practice, and recognize the unique strengths and supports that sustain you. Learn an innovative, reflective process that identifies the challenges and strengths particular to the context in which you work. Develop greater ethical intelligence.

Learning Objectives:
  • Apply Reflective Meditation and freeform writing for a deeper understanding of the “ethical landscape” of participants.
  • Identify and reduce conditions that create ethical vulnerabilities and challenges.
  • Identity and augment personal strengths and activities that lead to reduced risk of ethical transgressions.
  • Develop an understanding of the Buddhist principle of conditionality and its role in ethical decision-making.
  • Develop an understanding of the Buddhist teaching of the eightfold path as an ethical anchor.
Cost: The workshop is offered at three price points: $225, $175, $125. Honestly consider what you can afford. If you are able to pay on the higher end, this will support others who are experiencing financial challenges. We are offering one free slot to BIPOC therapists, email ethics@pinestreetsangha.org to request the slot.
