Session Description: Environmental sustainability and climate change are topics on everyone’s mind but that have seemed difficult to integrate into busy medical practices. Dr. Todd Sack, an internationally known expert in this field, will explain the environmental impacts of outpatient healthcare, describe the regulatory standards for environmental sustainability that are expected to come to our industry, and will explain the easy-to-use tools that are available to practice managers to save money and create healthier communities with environmental sustainability. He will present for thirty-five minutes followed by discussion.
Dr. Todd Sack speaks and writes widely on the topic of environmental sustainability and climate change preparedness in health care practices. He edits on behalf of thirty health professional organizations, include the Medical Society of Delaware, the My Green Doctor program that works with practice managers to help their practices to save money by adopting sustainability and to share wise concepts with patients.
