In order to appropriately plan for the event, it is important that you register to attend.  Please be sure to choose the correct registration type below. Choose only one registration type.

If you are a Council Member, please choose "MSD Council Member."  If you are an MSD member but not appointed to the Council, choose the registration type "MSD Member."

Any Council members not planning to attend, please choose "Council Member - NOT ATTENDING" to indicate you will not be present.

The Interim Council Meeting is open to all members of the Medical Society of Delaware to attend.

THURSDAY, APRIL 10, 2025.

  • Treasurer's Report
  • Advocacy Update
  • Elections
  • Nominations for Appointment to the 2025-2026 Nominating Committee
In addition, MSD has invited members of the Delaware General Assembly to provide brief remarks and share critical updates on legislation that impacts physicians and patients, and afford our attendees the opportunity to engage in conversations to support collaborations in improving health care in Delaware.

Event Details

This meeting is an in-person only event taking place at the Smyrna Opera House. 

6:00 p.m. - Sign-in and cocktail/hors d'oeuvre Social
6:30 p.m. - Interim Council Meeting begins

Members of the General Assembly will be present to share updates on legislation impacting health care in Delaware. Use this opportunity to get to know the members of the General Assembly and your Representatives and Senators!

There will be updates presented by the President and Treasurer, as well as an advocacy report. 

The Interim Council meeting business meeting agenda for consideration by the Council members:
  • Elections
  • Appointments to the 2025-2026 Nominating Committee
Note that only Council Members are authorized to vote.
