MSD's Annual Meeting Week events start with our education program, "The Body Connected: Health Care Wearables," that will take place virtually on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 credit. There is no charge for MSD members to participate. This is a separate registration that can be accessed here.

The Saturday morning program will begin with key note speaker Stephen K. Klasko, MD, MBA, former President of Thomas Jefferson University and CEO of Jefferson Health, and internationally recognized advocate for transformation in health care and higher education. He will present "Swifties, Startups, and the Singularity." The presentation sees Dr. Klasko taking on a totally different role from his past, returning from 2035 to discuss what we have gotten right and wrong about robots and humans working together, value-based care, personalized medicine, and population health. As to how the "Shake It Off" superstar Taylor Swift and Ray Kurzweil, prolific inventor and author of "The Singularity is Near" and "The Singularity is Nearer," end up in the same program title? You'll have to be there on October 25th to find out!
Dr. Klasko's presentation will be followed by the presentation of the 50 Year Medical Service recognition certificates, acknowledging those physicians who have given 50 years of service to the medical profession since graduating from medical school.
Following, will be the convening of the MSD Council. All MSD members are encouraged to attend. The Council is responsible for our elected positions, approving the 2026 budget, adopting Bylaws changes, and consideration of resolutions presented.
Resolution Submission
Any MSD member, committee, or Council representative may submit a resolution to be acted upon by the MSD Council. Resolutions will be accepted through Friday, October 3rd and must be in final format at that time. Hotel Reservations at Christiana Hilton
A discounted room block has been reserved at the Christiana Hilton. The group rate is $169 +tax/night. Cut off for making reservations under this room block is September 24, 2025.
Cancellation Policy
In the event a paid registrant cancels his/her registration for either the Annual Meeting or the Officers' Reception, refunds are granted as follows, per MSD policy. If notification of cancellation is received:
- Day of or prior to the registration deadline of Friday, October 17, 2025, a full refund will be provided.
- Day of or prior to Wednesday, October 22, 2025, a 50% refund will be provided.
- Thursday, October 23, 2025, or after, no refund will be given.
