How POPARD and POPARD's Family-School Liaison Service Can Support
Students with Autism in Schools, at Home, and in the Community
 
The Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD) provides consultation, training, and support services to all public and independent schools across the province of BC. We also promote collaboration between schools, families, and the community to encourage positive outcomes for students with autism spectrum disorder. This session will describe and explore:
  • POPARD’s Student Consultation service in schools
  • POPARD’s Family-School Liaison service
  • POPARD’s courses/workshops/training opportunities
  • Resources available on POPARD’s new website
About this Workshop:
  • Presented via Zoom (the Zoom link for this session will be included in your confirmation email - if you don't see a confirmation email after you have registered, check your junk/spam folder)
  • Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
  • This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
