Education Options in BC Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop

This workshop will provide parents with knowledge to support their child/youth’s educational journey to meet their unique needs. The session will discuss:
The differences between modifications and adaptations to curriculum in BC schools
Alternative options for education, where the needs of the student may not be met in the mainstream classroom environment. This will include homeschooling, Provincial online education, both independent and public streams.
Learning pathways for graduation (i.e. Dogwood, Evergreen certificate, etc.)
Resources to support informed decision making for education choices.

Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
