Registration Information

Space is strictly limited to 40 participants. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED to attend.

While this event is specifically designed for 3rd through 6th graders, we welcome anyone who wants to join the fun!

Tickets are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. No exceptions will be made. 
  • Adelante Ticket (10 tickets total): Exclusively for students attending a RGISC "Adelante Con Arboles" Project School. (Cigarroa Middle, Daiches Elem, Farias Elem, Heights Elem, Leyendecker Elem, Milton Elem, Ryan Elem, and Santo Nino Elem.)
  • General Admission Ticket (30 tickets total): Open to the general public.

Event Details
 
Join the Rio Grande International Study Center and Slimerella for a storytelling hour featuring a reading of the short story "The Days the Worms Moved In." After the story, Slimerella will guide students in a hands-on eco-slime workshop!

Important Reminders
  • Check-In: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get checked in so we can start the storytelling hour right on time. 
  • Adelante Verification: If you register for an Adelante Ticket, please ensure your child attends one of the eligible campuses listed in the registration section. 
  • Dress Code: We will be making eco-slime! While the slime is safe and washable, we recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy.
  • No Walk-Ins: Due to venue capacity and workshop supply limits, we cannot accommodate walk-ins on the day of the event.
