  • Registrations for camps will close one week prior to the camp date.

RGISC is looking for young Eco-Explorers who want to learn about environmental science while increasing their research skills through fun outdoor recreational activities this summer!

Camp Details
  • Camp Location: Lake Casa Blanca - 5102 Bob Bullock Loop
  • Drop-Off: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Pick-Up: 2:00 PM
  • Days: Monday - Thursday
Camp Details: 
  • Lunch and snacks will be provided.
  • An in-town trip will be included one day out of the 4-day camp (Wednesdays)
  • The camp itinerary will be shared one week prior to the selected camp dates. 
Monday-Thursday Activity Schedule:
  • Monday - Tuesday: Lake Casa Blanca on-site lab and art activities (collecting water, using the scientific method, learning about environmental science, ecology, microbiology, and more!)
  • Wednesday: In-town field trip with local partners 
  • Thursday: LCB field activities (kayaking, fishing, eco-hikes, and/or eco-art)
*NEW*: RGISC Friday Family Night (Optional)

We’re inviting Eco-Explorer families to join RGISC staff for some Friday night fun where we'll celebrate your camper's week of learning. Enjoy hands-on nature activities and a chance to meet other families who share a love for the environment. Learn more about our ongoing programs and how you can stay involved all year long.
 
  • Space: Due to space and supply limitations, we kindly ask that each family limit their group to 5 participants.
  • Time: 7 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Event Location: Announced week of camp
  • Food: Light refreshments will be provided.
