Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop
May 15, 2025 12:00-1:00pm (Pacific Time)

Many parents/caregivers would like to learn more about what the research says about the experiences and outcomes for siblings of a child/youth with a disability, as well as the support that may be offered to them. This session will provide:
  • Key findings from literature to help inform understanding of the sibling experience
  • Parental considerations for supporting and fostering a positive sibling relationship
  • Resources for siblings of autistic children/youth to help promote their mental health and wellbeing
About this Workshop:
  • Presented via Zoom (the Zoom link will be in your confirmation email - if you don't see a confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder)
  • Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
  • This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
