Summer Programming for Autistic Children & Youth
Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop
May 7, 2024 (3:30-4:30pm)

With school being out soon, parents/caregivers must plan for 2 months of summer break. This can be a time of fun and family activities, but it can also increase stress for caregivers and children/youth with ASD. This session will:
  • Provide preparation strategies and tips that can support the adjustment to summer break.
  • Offer resources, activities, and camps that can be helpful for families to explore for their children and teens.
About this Workshop:
  • Presented via Zoom (the Zoom link will be in your confirmation email - if you don't see a confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder)
  • Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
  • This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
