RGISC is looking for young Eco-Explorers who want to learn about environmental science while increasing their research skills through fun outdoor recreational activities this summer!
Event Details
- Camp Location: Lake Casa Blanca - 5102 Bob Bullock Loop
- Drop-Off: 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
- Pick-Up: 2:00 PM
- Days: Monday - Friday
Camp Details:
- Lunch and snacks will be provided.
- An out-of-town trip will be included one day out of the 5-day camp
- The camp itinerary will be shared one week prior to the selected camp dates.
Activities (Middle School - Girls Camp):
- Monday - Tuesday: Lake Casa Blanca on-site lab and art activities (collecting water, using the scientific method, learning about environmental science, ecology, microbiology, and more!)
- Wednesday: The Meadows Center, San Marcos, TX
- Thursday - Friday: Guided hikes at LCB, fishing, kayaking, archery, and more!
Activities (High School):
- Monday - Tuesday: Lake Casa Blanca on-site lab and art activities (collecting water, using the scientific method, learning about environmental science, ecology, microbiology, etc.) and learning about careers in STEM.
- Wednesday: The Meadows Center, San Marcos, TX
- Thursday - Friday: Guided hikes at LCB, fishing, kayaking, archery, Laredo field site visits, and more!
