Option 1: Private Class for Delegated Nursing-We will travel to your site and provide this training up to 10 nurses. 

Option 2: Private Class for Delegated Nursing Training and Onsite Quality Review-includes Option 1 PLUS 5 hours of Quality Review consisting of a Review of your Delegated Nursing program, technical assistance, and written recommendations for improvement. 

After we recieve your Request for Service below and information on the next page, we will contact you to set up details. 

This in-person course for Nurses provides tools to learn how to delegate task to certified staff in settings that require delegation and how to delegate task under Ohio Board of Nursing to unlicensed personnel.

This training will cover the following:

• Rules of delegation- OAC 5123:2-6-3 and 4723-13 Delegation of Nursing Task
• Family Delegation
• Paperwork needed to delegate
• How to delegate, start to finish
• Understanding which settings require delegation
• The responsibility of the RN, LPN, and the person the task is being delegated to
• Reassessment of delegation
• What can I delegate
• Verifying that staff have appropriate certification so that I can delegate certain task
