Supporting Siblings of Autistic Children & Youth Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop

Many parents/caregivers would like to learn more about what the research says about the experiences and outcomes for siblings of a child/youth with a disability, as well as the support that may be offered to them. This session will provide:
Key findings from literature to help inform understanding of the sibling experience
Parental considerations for supporting and fostering a positive sibling relationship
Resources for siblings of autistic children/youth to help promote their mental health and wellbeing

Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
