Information Session: Navigating the School System
The school system can seem overwhelming at times. Knowing how the different roles, policies & procedures support your child/ student with ASD achieve their best, can pave the way for a positive & collaborative relationship between home & school.
This workshop will help parents/caregivers & educators/community members to develop a better understanding of:
Connections between the roles, rights and responsibilities of teaching staff, administrators, and parents.
Relevant policies and procedures that guide special needs Programming in the school environment.
information on advocacy steps and supports.
This FREE 1-hour virtual workshop will include:
45 minutes content
15 minutes Q&A
