Information Session: Navigating the School System

The school system can seem overwhelming at times. Knowing how the different roles, policies & procedures support your child/ student with ASD achieve their best, can pave the way for a positive & collaborative relationship between home & school. 

This workshop will help parents/caregivers & educators/community members to develop a better understanding of: 
  • Connections between the roles, rights and responsibilities of teaching staff, administrators, and parents. 
  • Relevant policies and procedures that guide special needs Programming in the school environment.
  • information on advocacy steps and supports.
 
This FREE 1-hour virtual workshop will include:
  • 45 minutes content 
  • 15 minutes Q&A
