Back to Basics-February 2019 Series- Topic(s):  "Personal Funds"
 This training will discuss the requirements of providers who have been identified in the Individual Service Plan as being responsible for assisting an individual with managing their personal funds.  We will discuss how the provider can develop and implement a system to ensure compliance with the Personal Funds Rule, OAC 5123:2-2-07 and guarantee that appropriate checks and balances exist to safeguard the personal funds of individuals from theft, mis-management or misappropriations. 

Please be aware that this is NOT training on Social Security Administration Payee Services or the Money Management HCBS Waiver Service.

 Completion of this training will NOT meet the training requirements for providers interested in getting certified to provide Money Management services through the HCBS Waiver program.

Late arrivals, etc.
Trainees who arrive more than 30 minutes after the training start time listed on registration information, who spend an excessive amount of time outside of class other than scheduled break times or who are otherwise disruptive to the training environment may be asked to reschedule their attendance at a later date, at the trainer's discretion.
