Presenter Bio:

Jason’s diverse career has encompassed a wide variety of roles ranging from design engineering to CEO, in venture startups to private equity backed mid-market firms to Fortune 500 global organizations. Jason is Chairman of Premo Ventures, a Greenville SC – based private equity firm focused on investing and acquiring small to mid-size advanced manufacturing companies with high-impact potential. Jason is also CEO of recent advanced manufacturing startup, Acclaim Advanced Manufacturing, a Tier-1 & 2 supplier of aerostructure and jet engine components for Boeing, GE Aviation, UTC, SpaceX, and more located in Greenville, South Carolina. 

Previously in 2007, Jason founded ADEX Machining Technologies based in Greenville SC, a Tier 1 supplier of precision machined Titanium aerostructures to Boeing Commercial and also advanced machined jet engine components to GE Aviation, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls Royce. Despite recessionary times Jason grew the company over 900% in revenue prior with 75% multi-year long term aerospace contracts, before acquisition by a private equity group in 2014.

Jason received a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a certified Lean Manufacturing-Kaizen Facilitator, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, and AS 9100 / ISO 9000 Auditor. He was also a senior examiner for the prestigious Presidential Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA). Jason was appointed by Governor Nikki Haley as a Board member for the South Carolina Centers of Economic Excellence. He is a Foundation Board member for the Greenville Technical College, Advisory Board of SouthCarolinaManufacturing.com, Mentor Advisor with Georgia Institute of Technology’s CREATE-X Startup Summer, Founding Board Member for the
NEXT Charter High School, Board member for SC Broadband Advisory Council, Advisory Board for AidJoy Charities, and a Liberty Fellow with the Aspen Global Leadership Institute.

Jason lives in Greenville, South Carolina with his wife Rebecca and daughters Anna (12) and Sophia (10). In his rare spare time, he enjoys mountain biking, white-water kayaking, hiking, snowboarding, mixed-martial arts, pistol & rifle marksmanship and riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail from Greenville to Travelers Rest with his family on the weekend.
