This two day series provides participants exposure to the most commonly used person centered thinking skills. The skills allow us to understand what’s important to a person AND how to balance that with what’s important for them, learn how they want to be supported, and how they want to live. Through trainer supported practice, participants leave with person centered thinking skills that they can use right away in their daily work.

This training is free to all county board staff and providers within Region V*.   Any County Boards or Providers outside of Region V will be charged a fee of $100.00 per person.

*Region V includes the following counties: Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Fairfield, Guernsey, Harrison, Hocking, Holmes, Jefferson, Knox, Licking, Monroe, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Perry, Tuscarawas, Washington.

Terms and Conditions

If you register and do not attend the training you will be charged $100 for the seat.  You must notify us via email at at least two days in advance of the class to cancel or you will be charged.

Continuing Education Credits:
ten and a half (10.5) Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities credit hours will be given after attending the entire training. Partial units are not provided. 

NEW!! Social Worker Continuing Professional Education (CPE):  This training has been approved for eleven (11) hours of  Social Worker CPEs. CPEs will be given after attending the entire training. Partial units are not provided. You must indicate on your registration if Social Work CPEs are requested.

Cancellations: MEORC may cancel classes that do not obtain a required minimum enrollment. In the event of a cancelled class MEORC will contact you via email regarding available options.

Late Arrivals: MEORC reserves the right to deny entrance to participants who arrive late. 

You must attend both days.
