Vermont Works for Women is excited to offer Rosie's Girls TECH during the February school break. Join us February 23-27, 2026 for a week of STEM empowerment and career exploration! Campers will spend a portion of each day doing hands-on activities led by local STEM professionals to develop technical skills and gain an introduction to the work and career sector. Our partners include OVR Technology, VIP, UVM EPSCoR, UVM Society of Women Engineers, GlobalFoundries, OnLogic, Northern Digital Inc, Greentime.aiMarvell Technology, and others! To round out the week, VWW staff will guide campers through the Rosie’s Girls Power Skills curriculum, as well as daily ice breaker and reflection games. Rosie's Girls is open to girls* in 6th, 7th or 8th grade.

*Rosie's Girls welcomes anyone who identifies as a girl regardless of assignment at birth, including non-binary or gender expansive youth who are comfortable in a girl-centered space. Rosie's Girls* welcomes youth from diverse backgrounds and also aims to make our programs accessible to economically disadvantaged students.
  • Campers will be introduced to a variety of STEM-based career fields that exist right here in Vermont. Through daily hands-on activities, campers will learn about different jobs, meet role models, and begin making connections between their own interests and passions and the opportunities ahead. We'll pair this hands-on fun with Rosie’s Girls signature “Power Skills” curriculum, activities and conversations that are designed to expand campers' self-confidence, sense of possibility, and connection with one another.
  • Lunch will NOT be provided; Please send campers with their own lunch. Snacks will be provided each day, but feel free to bring your own as well. Please send campers with a water bottle each day. VWW can provide assistance as needed; please contact us to make arrangements.
