What is Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR)? Why does it help? How is it practiced? In this practical half-day workshop, you will learn and experience the technique of PMR—an evidence-based strategy for achieving physical and mental relaxation as a way to manage stress and anxiety. Participants will learn by doing: you will be guided through the process of PMR so that you can use this technique in the classroom with students with autism and other diverse learners.
Audience: This workshop is for employees of BC School Districts, BC First Nations Schools and BC Independent Schools.
