Social Emotional Learning for Children & Youth with ASD Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop

Social-emotional learning is essential for children and youth, because there are a range of skills such as knowing how to solve problems, manage emotions and forge relationships that need to be developed with support. This workshop will:
Help families develop a better understanding of social-emotional learning using an evidence-based framework
Learn how to foster their child/youth’s social-emotional development in areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.

Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
