Promoting Functional Skills in the Home Environment Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop

Children and youth with ASD may have difficulties learning functional skills, however it is important that they develop these skills over time to achieve greater independence. This session will:
Help parents and families develop a better understanding of the wide array of functional skills
Provide strategies to support teaching these skills in the home environment
Discuss resources that can further promote functional skills learning

Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
