Social Emotional Learning for Children and Youth with ASD
Virtual 1-hour POPARD Family School Liaison Workshop

Social-emotional learning is essential for children and youth, because there are a range of skills such as knowing how to solve problems, manage emotions and forge relationships that need to be developed with support.This workshop will:
  • Help families develop a better understanding of social-emotional learning using an evidence-based framework
  • Learn how to foster their child/youth’s social-emotional development in areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision-making, and relationship skills.
About this Workshop:
  • Presented via Zoom (the Zoom link will be in your confirmation email - if you don't see a confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder)
  • Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
  • This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
