NOTE: THE PURPOSE OF THIS RALLY IS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE DAN CLARK SAFETY FUND.
ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
NO EXCEPTIONS.
Members: Register and PAY ON-LINE and SAVE $10.00!
On-Site Registration and payments will be $40 for both Members and Non-Members.
(Sustaining and Lifetime MSTA Members receive a 10% discount.)
Lodge rooms at the discounted rate are available Friday-Monday nights.
There are NO rooms in the block for THURSDAY night or TUESDAY night. If you try to reserve a room for those nights you will be told that there is nothing open.
After you register online and complete the payment you will be emailed a link to the hotel with the group code for discounted rooms and cabins. Rooms are $109 per night on Sunday and Monday and $129 per night on Friday and Saturday. (plus taxes and fees) The lodge has both double queen and king bed rooms available, including some with balconies and some suites.
Some cabins (2-3-4 bedroom) are also discounted for the rally. Check with the reservation desk for pricing.
Camping is available within the park in a designated area on a 1st come-1st served basis. Check with the park for rules regarding the camping area. Other camping options in the area can be found at: Camping - Canaan Valley, WV (gettuckered.com)
There will be a Ice Cream Social Meet and Greet on Saturday evening @ 7pm in the pravilion behind the lodge for all attendees. This is included in your registration fee at no additional charge. It will include ice cream bars and pops, coffee, hot tea, Pepsi products and bottled water.
There will be cold bottled water at the entrance to the lodge. We will once again provide coolers and ice for your beverages in the evenings at the lodge.
There will be a designated bike wash area with soap, water, and rags provided.
GPX files for the routes, along with discripitions, will be provided online in the event website. We will also have some limited GPS help available during registration.
Check-in and registration will be held in the lobby of the lodge.
There is seating on the front stoop of the lodge and behind the lodge for evening socializing. The rear of the lodge has firepits if it is cool enough. The resort has both an indoor and outdoor pool, a golf course and driving range, hiking trails, and additional activities for times when you are off the bike.
The resort has a dining room, a snack bar, and a bar/lounge area. All of them serve food. Gas, a general store, and additional dining options are only 2-3 miles from the entrance to the park.
Davis and Thomas , WV are only 10-12 miles north of the park. Thet have addtional restaurants, a brewery, and grocery shopping. There are hundreds of chalets. cabins, and rental houses within the Canaan Valley area. Visit www.getuckered.com for information on what is available within Tucker Country.
