Intended Audience Statement

This course is intended for graduating resident physicians and practicing clinicians in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The course includes high level overviews and reviews of core content within the specialty.  Please note that this course is not designed for introductory or early stage trainees.  It is intended as a high level overview for PM&R trainees/physiatrists who are already familiar with the core PM&R topics.

Priority statements

Registration space is limited to allow for optimal learning experiences during this course.
  1. First priority will be given to Canadian residents in their final 2 years of training (e.g. PGY-4, PGY-5).
  2. Second priority will be given to international resident physicians or physiatrists planning to practice in Canada within the next 2 years.
  3. Third priority will be given to currently practicing physiatrists in Canada, international resident physicians in their final 2 years of training (with a letter of support from their program director), or practicing physiatrists outside of Canada.
The course is only offered in English.

Any other interested individuals that do not meet the above criteria are asked to contact to provide more information for consideration.

Registration Entitlements - Resident and Physiatrist:  Registration fees include course tuition, electronic access to program materials, access to live virtual events, and access to social events.

Cancellation Policy: The CAPM&R reserves the right to limit registration and to cancel the course no less than one week prior to the scheduled date should circumstances make this necessary. Should this unlikely event happen, the tuition would be refunded in full.

Cancellation of registration must be received in writing at the CAPM&R Secretariat by December 1, 2021 for registration fees to be refunded 50%.  No refunds will be issued after December 1.
