Recovery Ally Training & Train-the-Trainer Facilitators: Tom Bannard, CADC, CPRSS-T, MBA & Rev. Jan Brown CE Hours: 6 (Exclusively for VAAP Individual Members)
Recovery Ally Training is a pivotal component of the Recovery Advocacy movement. This training focuses on empowering Allies to support recovery both at the individual level and within their communities. Participants will learn practical strategies for:
Engaging Allies and Champions to foster meaningful change in how society addresses substance use disorders.
Navigating the challenges faced by clinicians and behavioral health organizations.
Building a network of allies to drive systemic change beyond clinical treatment.
This Train-the-Trainer session equips clinicians with tools to cultivate recovery-focused leadership and advocacy in their communities.
