The Cheyenne Youth Short Film Festival presents its 2025 contest with a final event on May 25, 2025 at the Atlas Theatre in downtown Cheyenne, WY.
On April 25, 2025 at at 4:30PM, the festival kicks off with the release of the “brief,” which details the film requirements. The “brief" will be released online on the Cysff Facebook page
The brief and all the festival information will be posted on the at cysff.net and facebook.com/CYSFF later that evening.
PLEASE review the "Brief" released on April 25, 2025 for a description of film and entry requirements. Any entry that does not meet the film guidelines in the brief may be disqualified.
Registration must be completed by May 9, 2025 You can register as an individual filmmaker or as a team, but only one registration per film is required. Please try to make sure only one registration is completed for your team, as multiple registrations can be confusing.
Films are due by 4:30 PM, May 9, 2025. CYSFF will be at the Laramie County Library Willow Room on May 9 from 4 to 4:30 PM to accept entries in person. Entries can also be submitted online via dropbox or other file sharing service to info@cysff.net.
Review the brief for the rules for submitting films. Plan ahead and allow extra time for transferring/ formatting files, completing paperwork and to allow for technical problems. Incomplete or late entries will NOT be accepted.
A panel of judges will view and select the nominees for each category and nominees will be posted on the Facebook page. Prizes will be awarded for the top films and trophy's will be given to the winners of each category. The top films will be shown and prizes awarded in an event on May 25, 2025, 6:00 PM at the Atlas Theatre in Cheyenne.
