M A Rooney Foundation OG Training 2020
IDOE Approved Vendor for Training Reading Specialists

WELCOME to the M. A. Rooney Foundation Orton-Gillingham Training Registration site!

Our team has developed a new blended online training platform. Our training is scheduled for a shorter number of hours each day over a 2 week period. Recorded lessons are assigned to be viewed independently by participants. There are also assigned readings and activities to complete from our syllabus. Some content and required partner practice and individual assessments will be delivered using the Flipgrid app and the Zoom platform. Participants are required to attend a daily group Zoom meeting with our Instructors that lasts up to 1 and 1/2 hours each day. Participants may register for either an A.M. Onine Session or a P.M. Online Session.

We offer two training options. Please read over the descriptions below and choose the option that best meets your needs, according to both the level of students you support and your purpose for training. When you have selected your training option please refer to the table below to begin the registration process.  Select the Session and "click" on the date for training. If you have any questions regarding the best training option for you, please contact Ann Puckett-Harpold:    AnnP-H@marooneyfoundation.org
