Class Registration

Select classes you wish to sign up for below.  You will be emailed a link to the email address provided during registration.  The link is not sent immediately.  You will receive your link before the day of the class.  

Please note that we do not offer refunds. If for some reason you cannot attend the class and have already paid for it, we will give you credit toward another class.

April 24th 2024 2-3 pm Virtual Infant Car Seat   
Safety Class for those who are insured by WV    
Medicaid or have a true need and have a child under   
one year of age child's name and birthday will   
need to be provided. Once you register for the   
class you will receive a Zoom link. Please click   
on the link the day of the class to attend the    
live, virtual education. Please be prepared to    
provide your Medicaid #. Upon completion of this    
virtual class you will receive a FREE infant car seat   
base and carrier which must be picked up at   
the CAMC Women & Children's Family Resource Center   
within one week of the class. We cannot ship or   
deliver car seats. Please make arrangements   
if you need someone else to pick up your seat for   
you and provide that information to the instructor   
the day of the class.    		 $.00
Tuesday, May 7th and 21st 6-9:30p.m Birthing   
Basics Childbirth Class a 2-class series, will meet   
virtually. A Maternity Care Area Tour is included and   
must be scheduled for a future date. You will   
receive a link at the email address you provide   
during registration. Class supplies used for   
reference after completion of series will be   
mailed to you after the completion of class 1. Class   
registration also includes access to the   
Understanding Birth web app which is full of   
information including videos, contraction timers and   
more!    		 $80.00
May 21st, 2024 10-12noon. Virtual Family &   
Friends CPR Class. Once you register for this class   
a Zoom invite will be emailed to you. Upon   
completion of the Zoom class a book/card will be   
mailed to you. This is not a certification class but   
does teach valuable skills needed to save an infant   
or child's life. The class is facilitated by an   
American Heart Association Instructor. It is   
recommended that you have a pillow or soft body doll   
available to practice compressions on during the   
video portion of the class.    		 $25.00
Wednesday May 22nd 2024 1:30-2pm Virtual   
Convertible Car Seat Safety Class for those who are   
insured by WV Medicaid or have a true need and   
have a child under one year of age. Child's name   
and date of birth will be required. Once you register   
for the class you will receive a virtual link. Please   
click on the link the day of the class to attend   
the live, virtual education. Please be prepared to   
provide your Medicaid #. Upon completion of this   
virtual class you will receive a FREE convertible car   
seat which must be picked up at the CAMC    
Women & Children's Family Resource Center within one   
week of the class. We cannot ship or deliver car   
seats. Please make arrangements if you need    
someone else to pick up your seat for you and provide   
that information to the instructor the day of    
the class.    		 $.00

Understanding Breastfeeding taught by our   
Lactation Department. Come enjoy a face to face   
class at the Family Resource Center located at Women   
& Children's Hospital. Class will be held June   
3rd 6-9pm    		 $45.00
Done in a Day childbirth class IN-PERSON June   
8th 9-4:30. Class will be held at the CAMC Family   
Resource Center.    		 $80.00
June 11th, 2024 6:30-8:30pm. Virtual Family &
