DODD Seeking Feedback on OhioISP
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) would like to thank you for your dedication and continued efforts in implementing the OhioISP. Together, we’ve achieved incredible milestones that have positively impacted the lives of Ohioans with developmental disabilities and their families. The adoption of a standardized assessment and planning template and process has:
- Helped team members know what to expect during the planning process, creating consistency and clarity;
- Simplified transitions for people with disabilities and their families moving between counties or living arrangements; and
- Empowered people with disabilities and their families to share what is important to and for them across all key areas of their lives.
These successes reflect the hard work of our partners, and we’re excited to build on this strong foundation to make the OhioISP even better. We recognize that no system is perfect, and there’s always room for growth. That’s why DODD is inviting you to share your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions to improve the OhioISP template and process.
Your insights will guide updates to the OhioISP to better reflect the needs, preferences, and choices of Ohioans with developmental disabilities.
