       Join us for our 2018
       Patient/Family/Professional Conference!

Besides being on the riverfront, where the Mississippi River goes east to west, our conference is set in one of the busiest places in Iowa. The Rock Island Arsenal is right across the river and there are at least four golf courses in the area. We are five blocks from the Saturday Farmers’ Market, about 10 minutes from the Village of East Davenport which hosts many small shops and great eating places, and 20 minutes from the historic town of LeClaire – home to the American Pickers, Buffalo Bill Cody’s birthplace, and again, small shops and great eateries. The Quad Cities is also the home base for the world renowned company, John Deere with a specialty shop in Moline. Boetje’s Mustard Company is located here, the best minor league baseball park is just down the street, the Figge Museum, breweries, and where sliced bread began!

Our conference will be held at the Radisson Quad City Plaza in Davenport.

Further details about the conference are available on the AGSD website at:

Event Details
The Association for Glycogen Storage Disease Conference is an annual meeting where those affected with glycogen storage diseases, their families, and medical professionals can connect with others - providing mutual support.

The focus of the conferences is meeting other people and families affected by GSD, gaining a better understanding of the GSDs and their implications, and learning about the latest research findings and upcoming studies. The AGSD understands that having a family member with a rare medical condition is very difficult, so by gathering each year, we affirm and encourage each other.
